On Tuesday, March 17th a scheduling server reported a degraded raid array. It was not possible to hot-swap the faulty SSD. We decided to replace the entire server and that was the reason we had to announce a maintenance quickly and without much time to avoid the risk degrading the entire service.

To replace the server we had to pause our processing cluster for 20 minutes to avoid race conditions and faulty processing runs.

The maintenance has been completed without issues.

We need to switch some infrastructure components. Data processing will be paused for several minutes but all jobs will be queued when scheduled in that time.
